रात गुज़ारना मुश्किल है..

जो कुछ भी सीखा है ज़िंदगी में,

जो कुछ भी जिया है अब तक

सबको पास बिठा कर..

मजमा लगा दिया है मैने

मगर सब टिकते कहाँ हैं!

करवट के कोण बदलते ही,

ख़याल,यादें,तजुर्बे, सब के सब बदल जाते हैं.

और फिर कहाँ से कहाँ ले जायेंगे पता नही चलता

मगर एक करवट लिए रहना भी तो मुश्किल है!

बड़ी बेचैनी  रहती है कि...........

English version of the poem

Spending night is difficult!

All that learnt and all that lived
I gather all of them around
but no one stays for long
on my unsteady ground
with each degree I turn my side
everyone change their way
thought,memories and experiences
all of them fly away
where would they land where would they settle
i am all clueless
but then by staying on just one side,
I'll end up being restless.
For spending night is difficult!
